What can I record?

Phone-007B has three recording modes which is:

• ambient sound recording

Phone-007B allows you to record in a variety of occasions such as cheating wife, cheating husband, monitor employee, parent control, elderly care, baby monitor and a variety of audio surveillance applications.

If I chose ambient sound recording, is it going to record all day long?

No, it doesn't. It only records when there is sound in the room. You can set the sound level according to your preference. The recording will start only if the sound in you room is above the figure you set.

I have give phone-007B to others a gift, how can I control the functions.

You can control all functions of the Phone-007B from any phone or computer:

• Call your local Phone-007B access number from any phone and use your touch tone keypad to enter your login and pin code information. You will then be given the option to listen to a call in progress and manage various user options, or
• Go to my.PurpleGoods.com and log into the web portal. There you can manage all of your Phone-007B services from your computer.

Furthermore, there is a recording button located next to the right hand side of the LCD display screen on Phone-007B. You can press it to configure the recording mode.

How do I listen to Recordings?

Any of the recorded conversations will be uploaded to the secure Phone-007B network. As a Phone-007B subscriber, you can listen in to live conversations from any phone or previously recorded conversations via a computer or a telephone anywhere in the world.

How do I record conversations in a room ?

Once your Phone-007B is set up to record ambient sound in a room, all conversations or sounds captured by the hidden microphone on the Phone-007B will be transmitted and stored on our secure network for you to access from a web browser. You can enable ambient sound recording through my.PurpleGoods.com web portal.

Can Phone-007B be used like a normal phone?

No. Phone-007B is a telephone like spy bug which can't make phone calls. If you'd like to record your phone conversations, please check our another product, Phone-007. It allows you to make phone calls and record on going calls.

Can I record a mobile phone call with Phone-007B?

If your Phone-007B is on a call with a mobile phone then all the Phone-007B features will be available. In this way you can use Phone-007B to record a mobile phone call. Furthermore, as Phone-007B has ambient sound recording function, it will capture any detectable sound near Phone-007B and start recording. For instance, if someone is talking with a mobile phone near a Phone-007B, the phone will capture their conversation automatically and give you a notification message or call to inform you the conversation has started.

Can Phone-007B be installed on a mobile phone?

Phone-007B is not software but an actual hardware device that is combined with a sophisticated Web and Internet service. It looks like a normal telephone but with a special network to support its recording functions. This network only supports Phone-007B which can't be installed on anybody's existing telephone or mobile phone. There is now way, however, to use Phone-007B to track mobile phone's network.

Can I access the Phone-007B features from my mobile phone?

You can listen to previously recorded conversations by dialing a Phone-007B local access number from your mobile phone and enjoy the Phone-007B features. In addition, you can set up your mobile phone number as your notification number and have the system automatically call your mobile phone of any recording activities on or near your Phone-007B.

How long are recordings kept?

Phone-007B services keep your recordings on the system network for as long as you have storage space available. Usually a Phone-007B user will get 450MB of storage space, which means approximately 80 hours of recordings can be stored. Once a user’s recording storage becomes full, subsequent recordings will overwrite existing recordings.

You can always download to your own computer the recordings that you want to keep for a more permanent record. Additional online storage can be purchased as an option.

Do I need a computer?

No, you do not need a computer to use Phone-007B. You just need a high-speed Internet service (DSL, Cable Modem, etc.) to install the Phone-007B. Once your Phone-007B is installed, you can access Phone-007B services from either a computer or a telephone anywhere (no computer needed). If you choose to use a computer to access the Phone-007B services, we recommend using Windows XP or Vista operating system, minimum of 256MB of memory, and an optional headset to listen to audio information with privacy.

Do I need broadband?

Because you can access the Phone-007B features from any phone, you don’t need a computer with broadband to listen to recorded calls or live conversations. However, the Phone-007B works as a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone and you do need to have broadband available wherever the Phone-007B is installed.

Do I need to install a new phone line to use Phone-007B?

No, you do not need a phone line to use Phone-007B to make outbound calls. With the Phone-007B service and your high-speed Internet connection, you can use Phone-007B to call any phone in the world for a low flat monthly fee.

Is Phone-007B easy to set up?

Yes, it is. Once you receive your Phone-007B, simply connect the Phone-007B to an Internet connection and connect the power.. Phone-007B will automatically configure itself once it is plugged into the Internet. Then visit my.PurpleGoods.com to set up your account, and your Phone-007B service will be activated and ready to be used.

Is Phone-007B legal to use?

User understands that the Phone-007B is programmed with a tone that repeats during monitoring or recording. The repeating tone may be turned off. User acknowledges that it may be unlawful under the laws of the United States and certain states therein to monitor or record conversation without the consent of one or all parties, and agrees to assume full responsibility for complying with applicable law.

What if someone else in my office picks up my Phone-007B notification phone call?

In order to protect your privacy, you need to set up a password to listen to the recorded messages from any phone.  The same password would apply for any Phone-007B initiated notification phone calls.

How reliable is the Phone-007B technology? If all my conversations are recorded and heard by somebody else I would be extremely concerned about my own privacy.

Phone-007B service uses state of the art technologies to keep your recordings and personal information safe. Calls and recordings are encrypted before being transmitted over the Internet, and Phone-007B's network is monitored 24/7 to make sure your data is secure.

What's your return and exchange policy?

Our goal is to ensure your 100% satisfaction.  You may return the Phone-007B unit for any reason for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. To obtain a refund, contact customer service for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and follow the instructions from customer service to return the unit. Please include all items in their original packaging when returning the unit. Shipping cost cannot be refunded. Customer is responsible for the shipping cost of returning the unit. Please allow up to 4 to 6 weeks to process your refund. We will notify you via email of your refund status.

If you received a faulty unit and wish to exchange it for the same item, contact customer service within 30 days of purchase for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and follow the instructions from customer service to exchange the unit. A postage-paid box pre-labeled with return address will be shipped to you to return the faulty unit. Once the original unit is received, a new unit will be shipped to you within 1 business day. We will notify you via email of your exchange status.

Customers who violate the Acceptable Use policy or who otherwise abuse the Phone-007B unit will not be eligible for any returns or exchanges.
